Vancouver

Unfortunately, this is the last series of pics I have. boo.

And it was our trip to Vancouver before going back.
Yiyi had to go back to Alberta(??) for her meeting, so we went to Vancouver ourselves, and explored it.

We were walking distance to Stanley park, which was the most serene place I've ever been too.
Vancouver had the best weather of all the places we've been, and even papa commented how hot it was comparatively.

Walking beside the lake, with lots of birdies.

The other side of the harbour.

Racoons!!
Something relatively funny happened in Stanley park, where a woman wanted to help us take a family photo, she was really suspicious looking and she kept backing back, saying that we werent in the screen, and it was seriously like an episode of Mr. Bean man!!
Papa had to chase her to get back his camera.
-.-!

We also visited Van's china town which were larger than most of the chinatowns we visited,
Again, we had dim sum!

Also, visited sunyatsen's garden

Yiyi came to Van during the 3rd day, and we had a CNY reunion dinner together.

With traditional lion dances!

New style of reunion dinners, pearl milk tea and choc fondue.
Papa didnt follow because he was tired after the reunion dinner and slept at the hotel.
We sleep around 8pm everyday -.-!

I is not an alcoholic!

Exotic fruit!!

Reunion food!! yUMMY!!

yiyi was modeling her cashmere jacket!!
We also went up the mountains, using a gondola, which I was sick to the core riding on it.
Mummy and yiyi were like cowboys shouting 'yeehaaaa' whenever there was a bump.

We also went to a hanging bridge to see the evergreen

Mummy and papa went away and took pictures -.- without me!

Evergreen!

picnicing in the middle of the woods!

A very happy aunt!!

yiyi was told off by someone using the loudspeaker because she was shaking the bridge! haha!

We visited Stanley park again with yiyi and had a cycle, but mummy and papa went groceries shopping.

We aslo went to the other side of town to see the markets!! and harbour.

good food! yum yum!
i miss eating yummy food w/o caring for calories!

Market!!!

A very happy mummy!!

the toffee apples which were overpriced that I always wanted to try..

this concludes the end of our canada trip, and Ihope everyone enjoyed it.
Take care everyone!!!!!

Montreal

Hello,

I know, I know, I've been extremely lazy, it's been what? 6 months since the Canada trip and I still have yet posted everything about it. And my memory is failing miserably. I've been very good, staying at home, eating healthier, and actually have a jogging regime. I really wonder how long it'll last.

So this post is about our trip to Montreal, and we met auntie big D's friends too. It really helps to have friends all over the country. And oh, HAPPY SUPER BELATED BIRTHDAY TO AUNTIE BIG D!!! =)

It's surprising to see bright sunny pics of flowers in Canada eh?
We visited the biodome in Montreal where there were lots of animals and plants and even insects. eww to insects, but it was fun!
The parents went into a photography frenzy especially in the plants area.
You know how mummy is when she sees flowers!

& then there were insects. EWWW

Spot the tarantula!

Pleasant-er looking insects!

& then we saw penguins being fed!!

We also walked around the streets for a while, and saw this stuffed bear =((

& can you believe it costed like $25K??
pfftt! poor bear!

& in the exact same shop, selling fox fur handbags!
Excuse the super ugly photo, but I was trying to make a point, say no to fur.
-.-!

Back to the streets which were french inspired.
And everyone in Montreal spoke french!

We also met yiyi's friends and had an extremely wonderful Indian dinner at their place.
Ok, I now crave Indian food!!

Me playing with their cats!

They also brought us around, and it was obvious that mummy and papa didnt like the cold walks!
hehehe

We also had wonderful dimsum at china town.

& lastly, we also went to the museum to see aboriginal art, and there were cool stuff too!

Like this retro vespa.

and hahahah a very happy yiyi!! =D
with her salad!
